a couple of years ago I strongly recommended to visit this Chinese restaurant. Remember that time entered a small and gloomy atmosphere. I sat down and five minutes came a young Chinese woman without a word I threw the letter then disappear into the kitchen. I never heard of it and I could not ask for anything. If it were not read in a magazine about this Chinese restaurant (and its new larger premises and lit) had not returned. Was it worth it? You will tell. Only I can say that for the dishes of your letter it seems unlikely that there is a similar Chinese restaurant in all of Lima.
first asked to input the pan fan mai mien. If you are afraid of the name do not worry. Only a portion of cold noodles served with peanut sauce and pork ribs. The trick of course is that you should mix them. If you want to get an idea of taste is very simple: imagine a pork stew with peanuts, served with noodles. As input was ideal because it is a small piece and is a dish that had not tried before.
Then I served rice with chicken. I am sure I will say, that is not native food? Sure, but Chinese style white rice is served with a chicken stew. Nothing to write home? Not really. The rice is not cooked with salt and enough ginger. Chicken has all the flavor of the dish and the idea is to eat together. I must warn that it is advisable to combine it with some skipped because it can be a bit low season. At the end a matter of taste but is better than know in advance.
To conclude the visit I ordered a saute of tofu with mushrooms. The dish itself seemed an absolute success. It's the classic saute of tofu but with two distinguishing features: a generous assortment of Chinese mushrooms and a delicious spicy. The tofu was delicious, well cooked and fed flavor. If you are wary of spicy can combine it with white rice for him to lose some intensity. This dish reminded me of a legendary lunch at a friend's house east of parents knew much about this type of food.
I returned once more for the Chinese restaurant to get me out the nail with two dishes too well known to all Peruvians. The special fried rice did not seem like anything you have not tried before. Meat was very poor and he had a touch of grated carrot. Best I went with the noodle skipped because I asked with thin noodles. Same as above also had a lot of meat but the noodles absorbed all the flavor of the dish. Both dishes are recommended only as an accompaniment.
Up to this point is nothing but the outline of an ordinary Chinese restaurant. But the interesting thing, and I could not do yet, is to try the letter treats. What's different? Forget the classic wantan, and siu-mai-kao ja.
