Cost Of Catering For 150 People

Kankay Grill (A La Victoria do not go over)

Mistura Since the meat tasted in the barrel of Pedrito was very curious to visit your local time but until now the tyrant has not allowed me. A few weeks ago watching a program gastronomy opened more my appetite watching various cuts of meat prepared by the finest local food dishes. Fortunately I got a Facebook invitation to the blog for the 4.0-Displacement Kankay Gourmet Grill. Worn only my adventurous spirit could guide me to the heart of Victoria (one block of the avenue Parinacochas) looking for the advertised displacement. Fortunately not everything was restricted to the dining experience as read at the end of the post.

The displacement of Kankay Grill is made between two buildings, in a fairly large yard filled with plastic tables and their respective umbrellas. Do not expect luxury, obvious, but at least there is a good attitude of the people serving the tables and, I presume, must be masters of space. Lunch began with a mixed displacement: Chicken, pork and pulpit to the cylinder. The accompaniment was a potato in foil and some cooked vegetables. The flavor and doneness of meat were compliant but I'll take the pulpit, the flavor mild and similar to the kebab. It difficult to overcome.

Then came some and too common, the huancaína fettucinis with pork chop. Clear that the steak was, but not in their own right, all awards of the plate. Well done and a mild flavor was all salvageable from the plate. Why? Very simple, the sauce tasted strange huancaína, sour or bitter. To my mind the heat had played havoc with the freshness of the salsa. My claim to the organizer wine, tasted it and returned saying not very convinced that he had put too much cheese to the sauce. Sure. I do not recommend risking dishes huancaína asking if there is no adequate cold chain.

Finally came to the table an octopus tacu-tacu with the cylinder. You know my opinion about the octopus, is the most redeemable of the cylinder and this dish was also the star. Al-tacu tacu dish so consider him a traitor like lomo saltado because too many times I've had bad experiences because of some chefs are compliant with mixed rice and beans. Here at least try a little harder and gave that crispy texture that all tacu-tacu must be respected, in addition to dressing the octopus got a dish very reliable.

From the gastronomic point of view I was not impressed at all. It was my first experience in meat to the cylinder but I can safely say that had nothing special. Besides, just for the sake of putting some potecitos (the kind that occur in fast food) with sauces of unusual flavors, have you can call themselves gourmet?. If you want to go and hang out having a few beers and food to pass into the background, is the ideal place. If you want to eat well, I think that should be most central and best known for testing the famous meat to the cylinder. For adventure is more than enough. Visit his website for further references. data.
best of this displacement was to have met Lorena and Jason Macadamia and Lucuma. Nothing like a culinary bloggers meet to share data, and test urban legends reveal that there are too many restaurants to profit from their fame. They were both very nice couple and I hope to share in the future some gastronomic tours leaving normal. For my part I took one of my favorite places, the Gourmet Deli for the arrogant know this bakery desserts. Lorena and Jason was a pleasure to meet you, I hope to share with you another route and I wish them every success in his future endeavors.
