Norwegian The Pearl Stateroom For 4 People

The Candlestick (Day D)

i S someone asked me to recommend a restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day would use the famous phrase so politically I do not know, I think not. If they reflect a little, get out that day means to deal with unbearable traffic, be aware of the clock to reach the time of booking and will inevitably be armed with infinite patience because all the restaurants are full. This year looking for a place near my house for a change and decided to visit The Chandelier and testing their alternative Creole food buffet. Of course, with great local mitigating have filled a special day, I'd rather take it as a brief introduction.

This restaurant offers a buffet of five stations Creole food: salads, cold appetizers, hot entrees, casseroles and desserts. As you know I've never been a devotee of the salads so I attacked the front of the cold appetizers. I'll take the tuna tartare and the mini case, both for the quality of ingredients and presentation. In the hot season tickets I did well because I served a potato cake completely disarmed and some tamales without much texture or flavor. Things hasty never go wrong but we must bear in mind that the place was the limit of its capacity.

tried several rounds of hot dishes and I can safely give an opinion. Strength, their fried rice Amazon: jerky, sausage and peppers jolantao skipped. Was graneadísimo and could enjoy the taste of all the ingredients I had not cast him no soy sauce. Do not lose sight of baked turkey as much pork was superb, with the concentrated sauce product of a long cooking. Weaknesses of the season, the cau-cau of seafood that had too much potato, chili chicken and shrimp to watery mashed potatoes panko (It was cold and was mashed to oblivion)

Fortunately there is always a dessert station to reconcile with my habit of eating. The greatest success, and moved to my mother, was found semolina pudding, a dessert forgotten but is a true classic of classics. Another strength, the delicacy of its lucuma with meringues. Great idea to serve it in cups but not very convenient because my brother devoured them in pairs. Can combine it with chocolate parfait to see what is good. I also thought it was great the idea of mini creme brulee with burnt caramel at the time with a torch.

Considering it was a busy day I got a good impression of the chandelier. I'm sure that in the short term to evaluate their dishes back to the letter. And before I forget it was fun to meet in coincidence with Lorena and Jason Macadamia and Lucuma. It was fun exchanging data on the dishes we should not try. Gastronomic Bloggers attack!
